Purezza’s New A/W Menu

Earlier this week I attended Purezza Brighton’s tasting event where we tried the new pizzas gracing their menu from today. I had seen some different bases but had no idea what to expect other than that.

To say they absolutely blew me away and have really stepped up their game since I first tried their pizzas is a major understatement.

This is the biggest menu change they’ve had in 2 years and I’m honoured to be one of the first people to try it and give my feedback.

They’ve added 4 new pizzas to the menu, have improved two as well as adding a new dip.

Clever Sausage : Mozzarella, chilli, spinach, sausage, chilli flakes & garlic oil

I loved how green this pizza was and how it seems more healthy for that reason. Love the chilli and garlic flavours and the sausage is so delicious. The heat is the perfect amount and subtly hits you at the end. Can’t wait to have this one again.

Telling Porkies: Cheddar, mushrooms, bbq pork & sundried tomatoes. Served with Banana Ketchup.

This one was really tasty and flavourful too, love the pulled pork! I think even meat eaters would enjoy this. All the ingredients complimented each other really well – tasty af.

*New & improved*

Volcano: yellow tomato base, mozzarella, aubergine, baby sweetcorn, chilli, red peppers, chilli flakes and sriracha.

Loved the aubergine and baby corn on this one. Has quite a bit of heat and I would struggle eating a whole pizza but v tasty.

Here Comes Truffle: Black truffle base, mozzarella, tofu, mushrooms & micro herbs.

I was really looking forward to this one as I love truffles and Italian food. This one is so lovely, I really enjoyed it. Definitely a favourite of mine. Even if you don’t like mushrooms you can always pick them off and I still think you would really enjoy this pizza. Vegan luxury at it’s best.

*New & improved*

Pesto Manifesto: mozzarella, caramelized onions, courgette, sundried tomatoes, pesto and micro basil.

I really enjoyed this one too. They were all so delicious it really is hard to pick a favourite. The courgette was so juicy and the pesto and tomato tasted so fresh. A great one for those wanted to be healthier or avoid meat subs.

Cheesesteak Calzone: cheddar cheese, seitan, red pepper and onion.

Just like the traditional one from Philly it has everything in. A fully loaded calzone to meet all your meat and cheese dreams. I absolutely loved this and know it’ll be one I’ll order again and again. I love a good calzone and the seitan in this is fantastic!

All the pizzas were so tasty as well as really beautiful to look at. I love the addition of more mock meats which we only really saw before in specials. They’ve done a fantastic job with the menu and I can’t wait for you all to try it. So get down to Brighton or Camden and give the new menu a try. You won’t be disappointed! Not convinced?
